This week instead of my usual multitasking attempts, I tried something different. I batch processed: did all of my photo editing in one sitting, writing in another session or two, etc. The results were amazing. I got into a groove with each task and editing those last photos were so quick.
This week I posted about the myth that is multitasking. Really, your brain is just not equipped to handle it and you only think you are being more productive.

It's summer and it is hot. What better way to enjoy a refreshing lunch than with Marilyn's Avocado and Grapefruit salad with Honey Lemon Dressing.
When it is hot, or anytime really, there's nothing like a dessert that is easy to make. Laura over at Everyday Edits shares this Cherry Crumble. You can make it ahead of time and then grab it out of the fridge and enjoy.
If you are one of those that has to get the kiddos ready for school, Carol, over at Comfort Spring had a free printable checklist for organizing the kids and home for back to school.
With all of this hot weather across the country, you might like to chill out with this Pineapple Malibu Slushie Recipe from Ann's Entitled Life. Does that looking refreshing or what?
