On the day I was baptized, my great aunt and uncle's water heater quit working. For years, Uncle Jon would ask me how old I was and then groan about how old his water heater was and that it wouldn't last much longer. I think it lasted 15+ years.
Flash forward to the week of my baby shower. My hot water heater died. When I called Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Jon they got a great laugh at the irony.
My uncle passed away right around the time my son was baptized, before he got the chance to meet his great great nephew at our annual Thanksgiving gathering. Yesterday, my aunt joined him.
Today as I was rushing to get J to school I saw this in front of my neighbor's house.
Some people send pennies from heaven, my uncle sent me a water heater to let me know his Jeannie was there with him.
Awww! What a bittersweet story. But how awesome!he sent you a water heater!

So sorry for your loss, but praising Him for the promise He sent you in the form of a hot water heater.
