    In case you were wondering

    Jan 27, 2013 · 3 Comments

For those of you in the Western United States (and perhaps even further away), that might have been worried about the sudden shaking and horrific wailing noise earlier this afternoon, it was not caused by an earthquake, or the military testing a new Banshee like weapon of mass destruction at nearby Camp Pendleton.

    It was my son.

    He was upset at me.

For breaking the egg he wanted to break.

    sigh!

And then after sitting for an hour while I forced him to rest in his bed, the cookies didn't spread out like they were supposed to and just sat there like blobs on the cookie sheet.

At least they are tasty. I think I will help myself to one, or two... dozen. And wash them down with a margarita or two... dozen.

You know how they would have turned out if only you would have read his mind and let him crack that egg... perfectly. Eat a few more!

Amazingly enough the world didn't come to an end. Sounds like something my kids would flip out over. Looks like those cookies turned out good to me. Enjoy them and those drinks. This too shall pass!
