J and I have been hanging out in the front yard this morning, as we usually do on Saturday mornings when Daddy is working. While he is busily covering every conceivable surface with chalk drawings my neighbors must have decided it is gossip day. One by one they have stopped by to discuss the happenings on our quiet little cul-de-sac. Knots Landing revisited. Ha ha! You youngsters can google it to understand the reference.
Here are my photos for the last week of FMS Photo a Day, somehow managed to keep them all food related. A few were not easy!
Sept 8: Made by Me - Garlic Parmesan Roasted Sunflower Seeds harvested from my homegrown sunflowers.
Sept 9: On the wall - if I don't follow him to the bathroom that chocolate pudding is going to be "on the wall"
Sept 10: Sweet - local avocado honey. The bees pollinate the avocado trees and make delightful honey while helping the trees make delicious avocados. Win, win!
Sept 11: What you did today - Doorbell ditched my mom and left her these goodies to brighten her day (the third anniversary of my dad passing)
Sept 12: Shadow - a carrot sprout in the shadow of a tomato plant
Sept 13: Unexpected - something I was needed to buy was on clearance! woohoo! I actually had a full price package in my hand when I walked over to the clearance section - back went the expensive one.
Sept 14: Liquid - Great way to help young chefs pour liquid: draw a line on the measuring cup with dry erase marker and tell them to "fill to the line".
