The Friday Frivolity host theme this week is Crazy Hairstyles. And who had a crazier hairstyle than the cinnamon bun sporting Princess herself, Leia Organa.
Oh yes, I remember it well. I wanted to be Princess Leia so badly for Halloween 1976, like most other girls I imagine.
Like most girls of that era, this is what I wanted to be.
Unfortunately, I was sporting a Dorothy Hamill cut on my sun-streaked light brown hair. So, we tried one of mom’s wigs. But it had short hair too.
She is a Disney Princess now isn’t she? *shudder*
Who wears it better?

This song has been in my head since I first saw this meme.
No lie, I do like giant cinnamon buns … like these…
Lisa is an awesomely hilarious and authentic writer who marches to her own drum on her blog Syncopated Mama, providing an “un-labelly spot” for all the happily off-beat folks out there who have been wishing to find kindred spirits. She shares her adventures building a natural home, teaching her adorbs daughter, establishing and refining positive communication skills, camping, creating, cooking, and so much more! She has some great ideas for a Date Night or Family Fun Night with her monthly Passport series. This month she takes us to Africa.
Jessica is an amazingly funny and smart blogger from Wales who writes at Babi a Fi on a whole range of topics — from entertaining vintage nostalgia, to technology tutorials, to book reviews, to raising her adorable munchkin, and so much more!
