Welcome to another fun week of Friday Frivolity. Our host theme this week is Glamping. Oh wait, it's camping. I haven't been camping since my days as a Girl in Green. We used to go as a family too. And my husband spent many summers camping on the beach with his family. But now? These glamping memes are more our style.

The Hosts:
Lisa is an awesomely hilarious and authentic writer who marches to her own drum on her blog Syncopated Mama, providing an "un-labelly spot" for all the happily off-beat folks out there who have been wishing to find kindred spirits. She shares her adventures building a natural home, teaching her adorbs daughter, establishing and refining positive communication skills, camping, creating, cooking, and so much more! Go get her recipe for Scrumptious Salmon Meatballs.
Jessica is an amazingly funny and smart blogger from Wales who writes at Babi a Fi on a whole range of topics -- from entertaining vintage nostalgia, to technology tutorials, to book reviews, to raising her adorable munchkin, and so much more! Take a look at what she won this month and read how she enters and wins so many contests.
In a fun twist, since we now have four hosts we will also have FOUR FEATURES.... but you will have to go check out the other three blogs to see if you were featured there! 😉
I have two features this week from some very stylish ladies. You may or may not have noticed I have yet to feature a fashion post on FF. It probably has something to do with being unhappy with my body and completely lacking any fashion sense.
But Shelbee (the crochet vest) and Veronica (the tribal print) are inspiring me to move beyond my t-shirts and yoga pants.
Now time for the new stuff!
This a link-up for all things funny, fun, encouraging, hopeful, and happy. That includes free printables, giveaways, and other fun stuff to make us SMILE and start the weekend off on the right foot.
If you're here in search of fun and uplifting reading materials, skip the rules and just start clickin'!
Bloggy buddies, thanks for coming to par-tay!
You are welcome to link up to 3 posts, and old posts are always welcome!
There are three rules only:
Nicole @ The Professional Mom Project says
I'm so not a camper! Love the glamping memes. I'm all about camping in a nice hotel with the forest outside 🙂
Audrey Humaciu says
I'm more of a beach girl myself (not fond of windy roads needed to get to forest, ha ha!)
Sarah Eliza @ devastateboredom says
Ahahahahaha this is great. 😛 I knew I wouldn't be the only one who struggles with camping... I definitely want that castle tent next time! The dogs wouldn't even know we were outside anymore, ha!
Audrey Humaciu says
I think everyone but Lisa had the same idea.
Lisa/Syncopated Mama says
Hahahaha! Oh, reading everyone's posts tonight has had me cracking up! These glamping memes were hilarious! #FridayFrivolity
Audrey Humaciu says
I hope you had fun camping and look forward to reading about on your blog.
Elizabeth @ Guilty Chocoholic Mama says
Okay, so I'm a zillion percent late for church camp this morning, so this will be so fast and furious as to appear rude but is in fact just "efficient."
1. Your husband's idea of camping is my husband's idea of camping. Which for us is a good thing b/c that fact played DIRECTLY into our meeting, falling in love, and deciding to spend the rest of our lives together, all in the space of about 5 minutes. 2. I love actual camping, but "glamping" has to be My New Favorite Word.
Love, Guilty (and late) Chocoholic Mama

I actually like camping and have suggested going a few times only to be shot down repeatedly by my husband.
Shelbee on the Edge says
I would totally go camping with you! I hate the outdoors. I am phobic of bugs. I can't stand the heat. And I have terrible allergies to just about everything! And actually I don't even like packing to stay at a hotel. So leave me home with my fridge full of beer and I will cook on the grill every weekend! That's how I camp!
Thanks so much for the feature! I am so flattered and honored. I think we all struggle with how we feel about our bodies. I know I sure do. The trick is finding those pieces that make you feel fabulous! (Oh, and when all else fails, I rely on shape wear because there is nothing better than slimming my waist with absolutely no work on my part!)

I'll bring some beer and you can grill!
Julie says
Yes! These are exactly how I feel about camping. Get me a nice hotel room near a park and we're good 🙂
