6 Inspirational thoughts from Amy Poehler – Friday Frivolity

For our Friday Frivolity host theme this week we chose Amy Poehler. Well, Lisa and Sarah chose, I had to Google her. No offense, Amy! I am an old lady with a 7 year old. He gets the TV during the day and I just enjoy the blessed silence once he is in bed.

I did some searching around and found out she is an amazingly brilliant, funny and inspirational woman. And that is the way I am going with our theme today – her inspirational quotes. Be sure to check out Devastated Boredom and Syncopated Mama to see what they have to share.

Oh I wish the major political parties would learn this!

Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, latch on to the affirmative and don’t mess with Mr. In Between.

I learned so much from some of the low points in my life.

One of the worst aspects of the American culture is to always focus on the “more”.

being amy

This is such a great lesson, and one I still need to learn.

I like your take on the Amy Poehler theme. My favorite quote is the one about dreaming of growing up to be herself. How awesome is that! We need to enjoy being who God made us to be and not always want to be someone else. Thanks for visiting and commenting on Amanda’s Books and More!
