Why Clean House When You Can Read Funny House Cleaning Memes?

Our two week Spring Break spent entirely at home is sloooowly coming to a close. FEMA would take one look at my downstairs and write me a big fat disaster relief check on the spot. There is one skinny little path to get from doorway to doorway in the midst of the chaos. And my mother is stopping in for a visit. I should be cleaning. Instead I am looking up funny house cleaning memes.

But it was only because of our Friday Frivolity host theme. 😉

Why Clean House When You Can Read Funny House Cleaning Memes: I hate house cleaning memes.

Yes, I will do this before she gets here.
I need to learn how to do this! Teach me oh Photoshop experts!
Never while he is cleaning.Though I may grumble a little as I try to find the dishes he put in the wrong places.

My husband has been known to ask this or "who came over".

This is a cleaning routine I think I can handle.

By Sunday night, it may actually come to this.

Where can I lodge a formal complaint?
My piles of junk are only shin high...
My dust bunnies like to steal elastic hair bands.

Hahaha! First of all, wow, a two-week spring break? And second of all, we should exchange photos of our paths from the front door, because I can't imagine yours looking any worse than mine! #FridayFrivolity

I definitely feel that way most of the time. When my husband got home on Thursdays after I cleaned he asked my son who came over (my mom, haha!)

Ha! I love the one about cleaning for 2 hours before even getting to the point where you can apologize for the (socially acceptable) mess. If only it weren't so true.
