It's Friday Frivolity time and we have an Irish theme in honor of St. Patrick's Day next week.
Last year I did the Ancestry DNA test and discovered I am 31% Irish, the most of the other ethnic groups in my profile. I know you are looking at the profile picture over there on the left thinking dark skin and hair? Irish? Hey, the DNA doesn't lie... And the looks probably have something to do with another 60% being French, Italian and Iberian Penninsula.
I may not look typically Irish, but trust me, I resemble these remarks:

I like the limping one best. Now, I'd always thought that redheads were Irish, but then I thought I learned that Scots are really the redheads and that the Irish are typically dark-haired (with snow white skin). My dad's family did the whole Scotland-to-Ireland migration thing, so I guess my redheaded self has them both covered, regardless. 🙂

Those ancestry DNA tests are so cool, a few people at work have had them done and I'm always really interested in the results. I love that take on the 'Keep Calm' poster - I must have Irish blood somewhere! 😉 #FridayFrivolity
