Time for another Friday Frivolity Linky Party. The hosts are really enjoying all of the great posts our bloggers bring every week. And we are enjoying the host theme every month. At least I am. Except for this one: lip sync, lib dub or dance offs. Sigh!
I am the oldest member of our quartet and was a bit stumped with the prompt. This is the only thing I could think of at the mention of lip sync:
I remember the scandal surrounding Rob and Fab being stripped of their Grammy. I didn't know this bit of trivia though. But if Brian Williams says it....
I was in high school doing my best to rock, rock til I dropped to Pyromania when Teddy came on the scene...
I may be old and my memory may be fading, but I do remember this.
So, I guess I have to pass on this week's host theme, since I am more like this lady.
Who am I kidding? Head over to That Recipe if you want cookie recipes. I have plenty over there.

If you want to see some fun lip sync, lib dubs and dance offs, be sure to check out Babi a Fi, Devastate Boredom, and Syncopated Boredom.
Now on to the link-up! 😀
The Hosts:
Lisa is an awesomely hilarious and authentic writer who marches to her own drum on her blog Syncopated Mama, providing an "un-labelly spot" for all the happily off-beat folks out there who have been wishing to find kindred spirits. She shares her adventures building a natural home, teaching her adorbs daughter, establishing and refining positive communication skills, camping, creating, cooking, and so much more! If you need more comedy movies in your life after last week's Friday Frivolity, Lisa has five of her favorite comedy movies.
Jessica is an amazingly funny and smart blogger from Wales who writes at Babi a Fi on a whole range of topics -- from entertaining vintage nostalgia, to technology tutorials, to book reviews, to raising her adorable munchkin, and so much more! Are you interested in UFO's? I am! One of her recent posts is about 10 Weird Welsh UFO Encounters.
In a fun twist, since we now have four hosts we will also have FOUR FEATURES.... but you will have to go check out the other three blogs to see if you were featured there! 😉

There are three rules only:
Lisa/SyncopatedMama says
I have to constantly laugh at your "oldest of the group" comments, because with everything you share, I think, "me, too!" and figure we must be at close to the same age. I'd totally forgotten about Teddy Ruxpin - probably because I was waaaay too old for something like that, when he came out! 😉 Your post today really gave me the giggles, which is what our little #FridayFrivolity fun is all about!
Audrey Humaciu says
This one really had me stumped, but what you, Jessica and Sarah shared were all so funny!
Katy says
Girl, you know it's true, I totally loved that Milli Vanilli tape! Thank you for the shout out of my home inventions post. 🙂
Audrey Humaciu says
Glad you noticed I featured you, I was going to stop by again today to tell you.
Jess Powell (Babi a Fi) says
That Milli Vanilli meme cracked me up! 😀 Boney M were another one - and it wasn't until really recently I found out that Frank Farian was behind both groups. I suppose he thought it would be fine because Boney M were always really open about the fact they were mostly there to look good on stage! #FridayFrivolity

And now it is so commonplace it isn't even a scandal anymore! They were ahead of their time.
Sarah Eliza @ devastateboredom says
Tooooo funny! I love the memes you chose... way to redeem an irritating topic! ;P
Audrey Humaciu says
I wouldn't say it was irritating, just out of my comfort zone.
