Your Friday Frivolity hosts have a Friday the 13th theme going this week (be sure to check out Babi a Fi, Devastate Boredom, and Syncopated Mama for more fun). I chose to go with one of the scariest creatures of superstition... the black cat.
But, I have to agree with Mr. Spock on this one (and pretty much all superstitions)
As an auntie to many many cats of all different fur colors I know that every cat is fully capable of acting like this:
In this day age, we all should know the truth...
black cats are adorable.
Especially kittens...
and upside down new Mommys

The Hosts:
Lisa is an awesomely hilarious and authentic writer who marches to her own drum on her blog Syncopated Mama, providing an "un-labelly spot" for all the happily off-beat folks out there who have been wishing to find kindred spirits. She shares her adventures building a natural home, teaching her adorbs daughter, establishing and refining positive communication skills, camping, creating, cooking, and so much more! She shares her recipe for deliciously healthy Quinoa Avocado Brownies.
Jessica is an amazingly funny and smart blogger from Wales who writes at Babi a Fi on a whole range of topics -- from entertaining vintage nostalgia, to technology tutorials, to book reviews, to raising her adorable munchkin, and so much more! She has a delightful flashback post about a 1970's teen magazine called My Guy.
In a fun twist, since we now have four hosts we will also have FOUR FEATURES.... but you will have to go check out the other three blogs to see if you were featured there! 😉
My featured post this week is: Burgundy Campaign in the Great North West from Agent 54. It is a hysterical parody of Presidential Candidate Ron Burgundy's campaign stop with guest appearances by Carl Spackler and Martha Stewart. If you need a good laugh, you need to read this post and follow Agent 54 for more fun stuff.
Now time for the new stuff!
This a link-up for all things funny, fun, encouraging, hopeful, and happy. That includes free printables, giveaways, and other fun stuff to make us SMILE and start the weekend off on the right foot.
If you're here in search of fun and uplifting reading materials, skip the rules and just start clickin'!
Bloggy buddies, thanks for coming to par-tay!
You are welcome to link up to 3 posts, and old posts are always welcome!

Thank you for hosting. I m glad to have found your party and have added it to my directory that appears after every post and my Pinterest board of partie!

So glad you joined us Marilyn. I felt the same thing about your Over the Moon party.

I think I liked the one about a black cat crossing your path means it's going somewhere best! How can such an aloof animal be so hilarious?
Audrey Humaciu says
That is my second favorite after Bobbi. Probably because I know Bobbi was rescued by my brother and sister-in-law in bad shape, had a litter of 4-5 and only little Sue survived.
Cascia Talbert says
I have a black cat, so I thought this was great! Thanks for hosting. Have a terrific weekend!
Audrey Humaciu says
I have had a few feline nieces and nephews that were all black and were (are) adorable. Thanks for commenting and linking up.
Jess Powell (Babi a Fi) says
Aw, these are great! I love the thumbs one - you just know that it's true! 😉 #FridayFrivolity
Audrey Humaciu says
You know that's what they are thinking!
Sarah Eliza @ devastateboredom says
ROFL these are all so great! But I have to agree with Jess, the thumbs one is the best! ;P Love the boy name Sue thing... when people act confused that our dog named Jayne is a boy, I try a shortcut by saying, "it's a boy named Sue kind of thing..." unfortunately people under thirty usually give me a blank stare. What is the world coming to??? Johnny Cash should be mandatory listening....
Audrey Humaciu says
Most everyone I have told about Sue got it right away, luckily.
